Turn Your Business Idea into Reality with the GDBP Business Incubation Loan

Ready to start a new business or take your current one to the next level? The Guysborough District Business Partnership (GDBP) can help. Our Business Incubation Loan Program offers eligible entrepreneurs in the Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG) up to $10,000 in financing to launch or expand their business.

Loans are repayable over 24 months at a low interest rate, making it easier to invest in equipment, renovations, inventory, or other growth opportunities. Funding amounts are based on a board review of your application.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to grow, this program is designed to give your business the boost it needs and is stackable with other forms of funding.

Municipal Requirements

Although the Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG) does not issue business permits, before going ahead with opening your business, contact should be made to the Planning and Development Officer at the Municipal Office to ensure your zoning meets with the type of business you plan to operate.

 

*You must also ensure that your business obtains the proper permitting from the provincial body responsible.
